Attention all CCBF members,

With great excitement, I am writing you to invite you to our third annual fundraising banquet at Carmens Banquet Hall on Thurs, Sept 25, 2003 D.V. This years feature speaker is Mike ( Pinball ) Clemons, and various athleles for the Christian Sports Celebrity Banquet. The funds raised through ticket sales, silent auction, and live auction will be used in our on going support of community based credit unions in El Salvador and Honduras. This past spring, a group from the "Carpentaros" had the opportunity to visit some of the families that had received benefit from this support. We were overwhelmed by their appreciation and convinced that this method of helping people help themselves was very effective. Small loans of $50.00 and $100.00 were enough to help start a home business such as dress making, seed money for crops, capital to invest in a fish farm.....it was quite exciting!

The tickets are $65.00 per person (a great meal) with a charitable receipt issued for $45.00 of that amount.  If you would like to donate anything to either auction, it would certainly be welcomed. Maybe you have contacts with someone at work or a supplier that could help out.

If you would like sponsor a table of 10 or would like to invite your friends or family that would be great!
