CALENDAR:

At the beginning of this new year 2008, an update on topics and recognition of facilitators.

WEDNESDAY January 2, 2008 HALTON Breakfast 7:00 AM Smitty’s, 1035 Brant Street at Plains Road, Burlington. This monthly breakfast is as far along topic wise as the group in the Waterloo area. Both will be using #15 “Problem Solving” in January. While attendance fluctuates from a low of four in August it averages around ten or more. The youngest in his mid twenties and the oldest admitting to seventy plus. While both genders are represented the males outnumber the females to date. Participants come from Georgetown, Vineland, Waterdown, Dundas, Hamilton and Burlington.
TUESDAY January 8, 2008 WENTWORTH Breakfast 7:00 AM The Egg &I Restaurant, Duff's Corners, Ancaster. This group is enjoying a renaissance currently. This month’s topic #12 “Communicating Vision” will be facilitated by Brian VanOosten. Participants in the mid twenties to late sixties range represents both genders. People from Hamilton, Ancaster, Flamborough, Caledonia and Hagersville are regulars.
THURSDAY January 10, 2008 WATERLOO Breakfast 7:00 AM at Galtview Restaurant, Cambridge. This group, in January facilitated by Clarence Louter, is like Halton/Burlington on #15 “Problem Solving.” Participation is usually around eight to ten. At one time we had two female participants but, with Claire Elgersma moving to Grand Rapids, that has been reduced to one. People come from Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, Woodstock and St.George.
THURSDAY January 17, 2008 NIAGARA Breakfast 7:00 AM Perkins' Restaurant, 89 Meadowvale, St.Catharines. Over the many years that this group has been meeting its attendance has gone from a high of fourteen to as low as two. Currently regular attendance is about eight. In January Steve Oetting of Faith Life will facilitate the discussion on #9 “Healthy Alliances.” Participants come from Niagara Falls, Niagara on the Lake, St.Catharines, Jordan and Grimsby.
TUESDAY February 5, 2008 WEST LINCOLN/ SMITHVILLE Breakfast 7:00 A.M. Maple Leaf Pancake House, Henry Lunshof will facilitate February’s discussion on #9 “Healthy Alliances.” Participants, usually about six or more, come from Smithville, St.Ann and Grimsby with good intentions from Wellandport and Dunnville.
WEDNESDAY February 6, 2008 HALTON Breakfast 7:00 AM Smitty’s, 1035 Brant Street at Plains Road, Burlington.
THURSDAY February 7, 2008 WOODSTOCK Breakfast 7:00 AM Ody's Restaurant, Quality Inn, Woodstock. Most of six or more participants here are from the greater Woodstock area, but there are regulars from Stratford, St.Thomas and St.George. Topic in February is #14 “Decision Making.”
TUESDAY February 12, 2008 WENTWORTH Breakfast 7:00 AM The Egg &I Restaurant, Duff's Corners, Ancaster.
THURSDAY February 14, 2008 WATERLOO Breakfast 7:00 AM at Galtview Restaurant, Cambridge.
WEDNESDAY February 20, 2008 BRANTFORD Breakfast 7:00 AM Cora’s Bkft. & Lunch, 195 Henry St. Brantford. This group is persistent in continuing. Regular Brian Vander Lugt’s recent car accident and the serious injuries he and his wife sustained, makes the regular group smaller again. It is expected that the relocation to Cora’s will bring some new faces and thoughts around the table. This group will be discussing #7 “Obedience to God.”
THURSDAY February 21, 2008 NIAGARA Breakfast 7:00 AM Perkins' Restaurant, 89 Meadowvale, St.Catharines.

STONEY CREEK; We’re hoping to begin a monthly group in East Hamilton/Stone Creek/Grimsby area. If this interests you, send an e-mail if you can. Perhaps you can tell us of a suitable location as well.
GREATER LONDON/ST.THOMAS; Three or four people have expressed interest in a regular activity here. Why not send me an e-mail; with your input we can start something.
